Learning Never Stops in Couponing

There have been some big changes this week with the new Wal-Mart coupon policy.  I have just heard someone used register rewards from Walgreens at Wal-Mart.  How cool is that?  Also just heard someone got money back when their coupon was worth more than the item wow!  Here's a link to the new policy:  http://walmartstores.com/7655.aspx

I have a lot of people ask me how do you do all that saving with coupons?  People want me to teach them all the time.  Well...it's a learning process.  I'm still learning!  If you're not careful, you will overspend; so, you have to have a plan.  Here's a link to some help with the question how much should you be saving...this will help you begin to plan and understand the goal:  http://coupon-wizards.com/2011/03/05/how-much-should-i-be-saving/

Now when I started learning I just had to search and there are a few great sites that helped me learn.  One of the best sites for new couponers to learn is Southern Savers!  http://www.southernsavers.com/learn/
Don't get discouraged if that looks complicated, scroll down and see videos on the right.  That might be the best place to start for ease in understanding.

I am constantly reading, and improving at this.  It's not something you can usually do overnight.  If you have helpful friends and family members that's a great help.  If not, then welcome to my life lol.  You can still do it. Just read, watch videos, try different things, realize you're going to miss a good deal sometimes, realize buying coupons can be a good idea (here's my fave place:  http://www.couponsthingsbydede.com/ ) and have fun building your stockpile and saving money.  Some people will fail at this because it is a little work and it can be confusing at times.  Don't give up if you want to save money, just go slow and you'll get it but things will change so keep up to date and check out sites like Southern Savers regularly.  Also subscribe to some different coupon places via facebook so you can see their posts in your feed easily.
